Founded as a family business in Berlin in 1928, Rottendorf Pharma Ltd. has been conducting business in Ennigerloh since 1949.
After the decease of its founder Andreas J. Rottendorf, the enterprise was donated to the German Jesuit Order as a charitable
foundation.
The goals established were to protect employment in the Ennigerloh headquarters, to sponsor young scientists of pharmacy and
pharmacology and to support social and religious projects such as the Rottendorf chair at the University of Philosophy and
Theology in Munich.
In addition to these goals, the Rottendorf Foundation awards prizes for the preservation of a traditional, regional language
and aims at supporting organizsations which supply medical products to Third World countries.
Our commitment which is mainly orientated to virtues and social aspects has also had its influence on our way of thinking with regard
to the way we treat our customers.
We understand "tradition” in the positive sense of the word; to our mind, it stands for reliability, frankness and experience. |
